Derby City Pit Stop was a short-term project that was the pre-project for Derby City Wheels. This project was a motorcycle repair shop, as well as a coffee shop.

My goal for this project was to create two different spaces with a connection between the two. The coffee shop would have easy street access and an outdoor porch-style rooftop patio. The repair shop would have a different entry in the back of site but would allow for an individual who was dropping off a bike to have access to the coffee shop in the front. The front swopping facade is used to conceal the split purpose building, uniting the two together. It is angled so that those driving by could see the entire complex. There was also a required drive-thru window that went underneath the site.
