Hello. My name is Nate Francke, and I am an Assistant Superintendent at JRM Construction Management in New York City. At the University of Kentucky, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, complemented by an Undergraduate Certificate in Historic Preservation. Some of the driving ideas of my work are sustainability, functionality, and rationality.
I am originally from Louisville, Kentucky. My goal of playing college soccer took me to Eastern Illinois University for a couple of years before I transferred back home to the University of Kentucky. My major was originally construction management, but as I switched schools, I also switched majors. As a pursuing architect, I have realized that my design choices can affect the way people feel and move in a given space. I enjoy the feeling of being able to manipulate people’s physical movement and emotional perspectives through my work. The world of architecture has led me to other design worlds that I am also interested in, some of those being: construction, exhibit design, model making, urban planning, 3D animation, 3D printing, product design, historic restoration/reuse, and landscape architecture. Outside of architecture, I enjoy concert going, sports playing, and adventure seeking.
